Pricing

The Butte SPIRIT Home cost of participation is $450/month, with an admission fee of $200. Financial Assistance may be Available for Residents' First Month.

Starting in 2021, the Butte SPIRIT Center created an endowment fund which will provide ongoing funding for our work in perpetuity.

Giving to the endowment is a perfect opportunity to create a lasting legacy in the recovery community, and it comes with some great perks (including a 40% state tax credit on qualifying planned gifts) courtesy of the Montana Endowment Tax Credit! Our endowment fund is managed by the Montana Community Foundation.

Number one, you have a place that you're safe. So, if you're safe, then you can work on yourself. Because with the stress of, not knowing where I'm going to sleep or eat tonight, I don't see a way to get sober with that hanging over your head.

We just have a really nice place to go home to, the house is really very nice. It's a comfortable setting, and it does have that recovery attitude here.

Whenever I needed help, staff was there right away to help me with whatever I needed help with and guide me in the right direction.

[In the SPIRIT House] I'm safe to actually practice living in sobriety and being in recovery.

You get a chance to meet other people that are in recovery. Everybody's putting in their effort, whether it's the guys that live here, or whether it's [staff, volunteers and board members] coming over for a barbecue or to play music, I mean, I look at how these guys are doing recovery, and listen to their stories, and it helps.

[SPIRIT Staff] were very attentive to my needs and helping me recognize and meet my goals.

The house is really good for being open, I can say things that I probably wouldn't say, ever. [For example] we were just talking about spirituality and openness, I haven't talked about that since I was a teenager, because it was not acceptable.

[The counselor] Sat down and went over my treatment plan and gave me encouragement and advice. [Staff have] a great willingness to help residents that are willing to help themselves. I felt very accepted and welcomed into the home.

The Butte SPIRIT Home Mission

Our mission is to provide supportive housing and services to those recovering from substance abuse by creating an accessible, drug and alcohol-free environment, supporting fellowship and building partnerships among the recovery community. We seek to build connections with those that are invested in their own inner transformation, and to help them transition into a healthy peer supported network

VISION

The Butte SPIRIT Center envisions a future in which all those recovering from substance use disorders have the opportunity to become self sustaining and empowered to maintain their recovery journey, with both support and freedom.
